Consumer Lifestyle Researcher

Stylus / London

We’re looking for a Researcher to work within our Consumer Lifestyle team.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic researcher and writer with the passion and knowledge to help develop one of Stylus’ key content sections, dedicated to tracking insights and innovations within the consumer lifestyle, science and technology industries.

Strong writing and visual analysis skills are essential, as is the desire to get under the skin of a broad range of lifestyle- and tech-related subjects, stretching from demographics (Gen Z, boomers and beyond) and consumer attitudes to health and wellness and future mobility.

Experience of working in an editorial capacity within a fast-paced, hands-on environment, juggling deadlines and liaising closely with contributors and other business departments, is essential.

We offer our clients a cross-industry viewpoint, so you’ll also have a clear understanding of the intersections between the lifestyle and tech industries and other businesses within the creative sector.

You will be comfortable supporting the rest of the Consumer Lifestyle team on all aspects of research and development, as well as working independently on reporting, constantly bringing fresh ideas to the table.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of Stylus’ business and the needs of our subscriber base. Highly proactive, you will have great contacts, heaps of enthusiasm, and the high levels of organisation needed to work as part of a dynamic growing team.

Please also include writing samples and a list of two influences/directions that you think are currently shaping the technology landscape, and two that are shaping consumer lifestyles and attitudes.
